Dr. Schuster's area of expertise is in traffic and transportation
engineering, including transportation facilities design, and traffic safety studies. He
has worked as principal investigator and consultant for the U.S. Department of
Transportation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Northern California Transit
Demonstration Project (BART), the Transportokonomisk Institute (Oslo, Norway), the
Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, City of Philadelphia, various municipalities and private
industries.
