The primary responsibilities involve the development and implementation of the University's master enrollment plan, long range enrollment analysis and the coordination of University activities related to admission, financial aid, student records, registration, retention and enrollment information management.

The Dean serves as the Divisional liaison to the Board of Trustees, the Academic Deans, the Office of University Advancement, the Athletic Department, the Office of Planning, Training and Institutional and Research and the Office of Alumni Affairs.

The initiative was designed to significantly enhance and improve the University's capacity to share key messages with internal and external constituents. Recipient of the 2003 Delwin K. Gustafson Recognition award from the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling, The Gustafson award is the highest award offered by the Association to a member and it recognizes the recipient "For Dedicated Service to Students, the Profession and PACAC."

Recipient of the 1998 Omni Intermedia Award for the development of the Villanova CD-ROM. The Omni is an international award recognizing outstanding film, video, film, Internet, interactive & animation production.
